Camera To PC Stream

I worked on getting a live mocap to feed into Unreal Engine using Rokoko, Faceware, and Unreal. Everything is able to be streamed in unison but the only major detriment is that the small cameras we have, SjcamAir 4000 and Insta360 One R, can only stream to a cellphone instead of a computer wirelessly.

So, we purchased a GoPro Hero 9 to test as a potential option, which will also be used for EasyMocap later. The GoPro requires using a cellphone to control it but has capabilities for rtmp streaming. So, I successfully streamed the GoPro over ModSquad on rtmp to OBS. Then I created a virtual camera in OBS to plug in the rtmp stream into Faceware. Although, the stream suffered from a 5-second delay meaning a cellphone would be much better. We can use droidcam to stream footage from an Android cellphone to the computer and pipe that feed into Faceware or we can use an iPhone that has compatible apps with Rokoko, or can use a similar pipeline to droidcam. But we will use the GoPro to experiment with EasyMocap, a markerless mocap system, in the future.
